Call Feeding is a feeding system for group housed gestating sows. It is an extension of
electronic sow feeding and conduces to avoiding common issues of sequential feeding:
- trouble and crowd at the feeding start
- stress und injuries from fights for station access

- stress und injuries from sows pressing forward from behind
- uneven utilisation of the feeding period
This is achieved by selectively calling single sows to feeding. At the same time, this serves
as cognitive husbandry conditions enrichment. In addition, is provides new means for animal management to
the breeder.
